How to keep powder eyeshadow from creasing?

There's a dance at school tomorrow, and I'm going to wear brown eyeshadow (i have blue eyes, i think brown makes them pop unless u think a different color would look better). Whenever I've worn eyeshadow before it creases, and looks really bad, then i have to wipe most of it off. Any ideas that can help prevent it from creasing, anything i can do before or after i apply the eyeshadow? thanksHow to keep powder eyeshadow from creasing?
Buy an eye shadow primer. If you can't do that, make sure your eyelid is grease free (no moisturiser etc.), wipe over with toner, let dry then apply a coating of matt powder first. Do your make up then lightly dust with translucent powder using a large brush.

But try and get the primer - it really works. How to keep powder eyeshadow from creasing?
Get blotting tissues. You can use them all over your face. They absorb the oil %26amp; leave the skin with a matt finish. They are really inexpensive %26amp; really effective.
you need a primer. the best ones are urban decay's primer potion, and too faced shadow insurance. the too faced stuff you can get at victoria's secret, and primer potion I think at sephora
Get shadow insurance from saforia.

It is like $18.00.

If you can't do that a cheap and easy alturnative is....

chap-stick put it on before you put they eye shadow on... but not to much.
you should get an eyeshadow primer Urban Decay Primer Potion and Two Face Shadow Insurance are some really good products.
