How do u keep your eyeshadow looking fresh like u just put it on all day? mine always gets like oily and...?

it all will move to a crease in my eye and its just not pretty anymore by the end of the day...any tips on how to stop that? How do u keep your eyeshadow looking fresh like u just put it on all day? mine always gets like oily and...?
There are different techniques that you can try:

1) Apply an eye makeup primer. These can be found at department store counters, sephora, etc. You apply these on and around your eye lid before doing your regular routine to create a barrier surface between your skin and your makeup. THis is important because the primer gives something for your eye makeup to stick to, whereas before, your eye makeup was simply reacting with the oil in your pores, letting it slip and slide around, causing it to smudge and rub off.

2) Another alternative to an eye makeup primer, is applying an oil-free foundation instead. Then set the foundation with a oil-absorbing face powder. Then apply your eye makeup.

3) Lastly, you can try waterproof and smudgeproof formulas. Maybelline has an eye liner (Unstoppable eyeliner) that is smudgeproof, and Revlon has their own ColorStay liner. These work better than your average pencil liners and stick. As for eyeshadows, go for powdered formulas, rather than the gel and creme shadows. The pigments adhere better to the skin than the gel formulas.

*****If your makeup does end up smudging however, q-tips can be great for cleaning up any extra residue around the eyes, giving a more refreshed and cleaned up look.

I use this great product from Benefit (one of my favorite lines) call FY Eye. It's a primer and you barely use any and it keeps your shadow fresh all day.
try Mary Kay's eye primer. It's a product that is waterproof that you rub on your eyelid prior to applying the eye shadow. The product contains the oil from your eyelid from coming into contact with your eye shadow. It's a GREAT product!!! Plus it's 100% guaranteed so if it doesn't work for you, you can just return it for a full refund.
Actually, if you put powder on your lids (I find pressed works best) this will set the eye shadow as well as absorb some of the oil. This has always worked well for me.

(not baby powder, I mean the make-up).
put on eyeshadow base before you put on your shadow .. urban decay makes a really good one .. ill put up a link .. you can also buy it at ulta
You apply foundation to your eyelid before applying eyeshadow.
ohh that. put on a lil concealer on ur eyelids b4 putting on eyeshadow =D

that would keep it on longer
There are a few products that you can use. MAC has a few different types of products that you can use under your eyeshadow. You can try the MAC PAINTS, or there fluidline pots. You can use it as an eyeliner or as a primer and your eyeshadow will stay on ALL DAY. It will make your eyeshadow look very vivid. Just make sure to match the colors properly.
put on a base before your eyeshadow and it shouldnt go anywhere..
There are eyeshadow bases availale at the drugstore to solve your problem. The shadow will last until you take it off. Foundation just makes your eyes more oily than they already are naturally.
