Which eyeshadow AND eyeliner stays longest?

now eyeshadow, maybelline doesnt work for long


and eyeliner i mean the not too expensive kind.. if you could help me out with this id love you


ive tried every sort of eyeliner and none of them are as smooth as annabelle.. but annebelle leaves*/smudges alot in like 2 hours tops.

are you applying eyeshadow directly on your eyelids without prepping them first? you should put some pressed powder on your lids, i'll help the shadow stay on longer. what i do is apply some MAC paint (in a color called ';bare canvas';) over my eyelids..it's basically just a neutral colored creme eyeshadow. afterwards, apply the eyeshadow on top of that. this will keep your eyeshadow looking fresh for quite a while! it'll also help keep your eyeliner from smudging.





for eyeliners, i use a MAC pencil in black (it's the retractable one). it stays on the top lid because of the creme in the above step, but if you apply it on your bottom lid you should pat some pressed powder/foundation under your eyes so it doesnt smear. i've also found that waterproof liquid eyeliner stays forever! it takes a while to get the hang of applying it but it looks fantastic.





i know MAC isn't really cheap compared to drug store cosmetics but you're paying for quality--it's worth it!

The key to keeping eyeshadow on is to use an eye primer on your eye lid. One like Eyeshadow primer potion by Urban Decay $15 at Ulta or Shadow Primer by Stuido Gear $15 at Ulta.





I recommend for a less expensive eye liner that stays fairly well is the waterproof eyeliner by Prestige, you can get at drug stores or ulta for like $5.

i have trouble with the eyeliner, because i cant find a long lasting eyeliner,. but mineral makeup has this really good maskara and eyeshadow. the maskara stays on FOREVER well not litterly, but wen u wash it off, it is on there until you wash it off! but uhm the eyeshadow is good too. So is covergirls. and if u need help with covergirls maskara, there is something thats called lash blast, i just got it and it works perfectly! its aweosm!!
Same as Lea above, I use the bare canvas MAC paint as a primer for my lids. If I'm traveling and I don't have that with me, I use my concealer (mine is from Bobbi Brown) as the base above and under my eyes. This helps any of my eyeliners and shadows stay put a long time.
