I think grays and shimmery eyeshadows work best. But almost everything works with brown eyes so lucky you!If you have brown eyes, what is the best color of eyeshadow should you where?
I've found that brown eyes can usually play with any shade, it's just how much and how you apply it. I have light brown eyes with green rings, and my favorites to use are a purple shade or a light, sparkly green. Other browns look great too. But Carrie is right - from my experience, blue with brown eyes looks awful unless it's exactly the right shade. My favorite look is using my medium-dark smoky brown all over the lid, lightening with a light brown then lining with my purple shade. Sounds terrible haha but looks really good when you use the Urban Decay shades called Smog (the main brown) Mauie Wowie (the lighter tan) and Last Call (the purple). I also like using Last Call as the all-over, then lining with black shadow if you're going for a dramatic look. Mildew (a green Urban Decay shade) also looks really good with Smog.





I struggled with different shades for a while before I found some I really liked, so if you're having trouble just wait for a boring day and go sit in front of a mirror and experiment with all different colors and just wear the ones you like! Hope this helps;)

Although browns may vary in shade as a generalization greens, rich golds, and metallic bronzes tend to be some of the more striking colors for brown eyes. To give your eyes more depth, you'll want to use several shades of eyeshadow with one lighter shade serving as a highlighter for the shades you apply to the lids and crease.
my mom and i both have brown eyes, she uses like a dark shimmery purple or dark shimmery green blended with a little black, i think it looks really pretty.

i do too. i used purple one time. i got a ton of compliments. you can blend purple eyeliner with your normal eyeliner too. hope it helps. :D

avoid blue at all costs, especially if you have darker skin. A darker green would look nice if you have some green in your eyes. But other than that go with more neutral colors, or maybe an eggplant-like shade.
light pinks and dark greens look good fer us people wit brown eyes haha. i like the effect it has to make our eyes look all pop-out-ish (if thats a word?)
