follow these steps





# Choose a dark shadow such as slate grey, brown or coal to create smoky eyes. Gently tap the brush against the side of the container to shake off excess powder. Top the eyelid with the darker color and blend in towards the crease of the eye. Sweep off residue with a clean brush.





# Sweep a line of dark powder across the lash line from the inside to the outside. Use a stiff brush. Draw just beyond the outer corner of the eye for an almond shape. Tighten the lash line by stretching the outer corner towards the temple.





# Blend shadow carefully with a brush or cotton swab. This softens the line for a dreamy look. Avoid using fingers except to create an smudged mess. Avoid over-blending. Apply mascara directly or see Steps 5 and 6 to create a striking nighttime look.





# Add drama if desired by lining the eyes. Use a stiff narrow brush for a lighter look or an angled brush with wet powder to create a liquid eyeliner effect. Control the brush and keep the line smooth and continuous. Lines should narrow towards the inner eye.





# Apply shadow thinly just beneath the lower lash line. It's best not to darken the inside rim. Blend along the line. Apply a touch of dark shadow to the inner corner of the eye or produce contrast with a hint of white.





# Avoid darkening the under eye or area next to the nose. Shading in these areas looks sleepy or run down. Lighten around the eye with a touch of cover up or base. Keep your look simple and clean. Apply a coat of mascara. It's not necessary to curl the lashes on smoky eyes.
Just get some black charcoal eyeshadow(at the dollar store) and apply lightly.
