get a small piece of tape, and some paper towel or toilet paper, and tape it to your cheeks, just under your eye.
Is that what you were looking for??How do i prevent dark eyeshadow from falling onto my cheeks during application?
The only thing you can do to prevent it is to tap your brush prior to applying the shadow. You will find that the excess still falls onto the cheekbones. The best thing to do is to put loose translucent powder on your cheekbones so that after you apply your shadow you can use a large bluff brush to brush away the loose powder and any excess shadow that has fallen. Many makeup artists use this technique. I find it easier to simply put a tissue under the eye while applying shadow to catch the excess. How do i prevent dark eyeshadow from falling onto my cheeks during application?
use a primer like urban decay primer potion to make your eyeshadow stay where you want it and not fall down as much.
a primer will also help the color stay for longer.
also pat a lot of lose powder foundation under your eye and on your cheeks before you apply your eyeshadow. then once you've finished your eyes just use a foundation brush and wipe away all the excess foundation you applied. any fallout from your eye make-up will be wiped off with the excess foundation.
dust translucent powder onto your cheeks prior to applying the dark eyeshadow...and then it will come off more easily when you'r done with your eyeshadow...I learned this from Allure magazine, and I have tried it, and it works! :)
i take a facial tissue and press it right under my eye during application to catch the specks that fall. you could also tap your brush to remove the excess before applying.
You can put loose powder under your eyes which picks up any of the loose shadow and then the excess powder can be wiped off... a little trick I learnt which worked really well for me!!
just put some toilet paper under your eye and hold it there while putting on eyeshadow. That's what I do
maybe primer?
idk I thought it was supposed to make your makeup stick?
haha good luck:)
