What's your usual eyeshadow color? What color do you wear that's not to dramatic but still noticed?

Honey lust by MAC. Always get complements and isnt too flashy but just enough! I love it!What's your usual eyeshadow color? What color do you wear that's not to dramatic but still noticed?
i use a white shimmery color. it stands out but its soo not dramatic. What's your usual eyeshadow color? What color do you wear that's not to dramatic but still noticed?
i.d. Bare Minerals shadow in Java, which is a pretty, muddy brown with silver shimmer. Sometimes I use Maybelline shadow because they're cheap and come in so many colors.
Depends on dress and time.

I usually apply an eyeshadow for outings ; parties, dining out, weddings..

Not on a regular basis.

So Golden is my fav. Then blue with dress.

Metallic brown too.
It depends on your skin tone and eye color to begin with. I have an olive tone to my skin so I like to use a darker brown with a slight gold shimmer to it. With that I use a dark green in the crease of eye.
My norm color is brown. Then for the dramatic I wear a reddish rust color, a dark purple, silver. My eyes are a blue. Then black mascara.
I think its funny how no black girls answered this question for you. lol I dont wear makeup, you shouldnt either, just take care of your skin and you will look beautiful!
Silver, %26amp; it goes with anything. I put it on really light so that you can just see it!
MAC eyeshadow in woodwinked (Warm antique gold) subtle, yet layerable for a dramatic look
I use MAC 'Club' it's brown on first glance but reflects green and blue in the light :)
Depends on where I'm going. For work eyliner, smudged, mascara and a soft pink eyeshadow. If I'm going out I get a little more dramatic.
grey or pink, I wear. For something not so dramatic, buy a more sheer formula of make-up. Shiseido is great because it gives color that is not to over done.
Smoky grey or white
i either wear a shimmery pink or bronze. the pink is for day and brings out the eyelashes while the bronze is for a more dramatic look that brings out my green eyes.
I use Almay eyeliner to bring out the green in my eyes, then top it off with a shimmery bronzer (Physician's Formula Shimmer Strips in Vegas Strip). It makes my eyes pop, but not too dramatically.
I use white eyeshadow with black on the side.
brown so my black eyes stand out! Then I use black eyeliner to finish it off!

  • How to apply eyeshadow?

i don't want the simple way of just sweeping one color across your eye lid. I want to use more then one colour, i just don't know how to apply it. tips please :)

    THANKSHow to apply eyeshadow?
i would apply like a dark color first (dark blue or purple any dark color) then put a lighter color (pink or any light color) you can put the light color in like just the middle of your eyelidHow to apply eyeshadow?
First have eyeshadow brushes. several are ideal. sometimes a lil eyeshadow goes along way.

thanks so much!Which of these eyeshadow color palletts would look best with an olive skin tone?
i think the Ivy would look beautiful

i would give it a shot if i were you : )Which of these eyeshadow color palletts would look best with an olive skin tone?
since you have brown eyes, you should go with silver lining, luxe, and blue moon
Silver lining, luxe, and ivy would all probably look great.
    no doubt the luxe !
butternut or pretty in pink will look the most natural luxe will be more dramatic. If you have warm skin then choose warm palettes for a natural look and cool palettes for a dramatic look.
i think that luxe and Ivy would look amazing with an olive skin tone and your brown hair/brown eyes
    I wouldn't recommend e.l.f.

But your colors would definitely be either like an orangish color or pink would really bring out your eyes/.
    Ivy

Some people put eyeshadow under their eyes?

Have you ever seen that? Do you like it? How do you do it?Some people put eyeshadow under their eyes?
I do it.....you take a flat brush and just dab it in the eye shadow and either tap it into the bottom lash line or drag it just underneath- not nearly as harsh as putting eyeliner under your lower lash line but definitely has an eye-opening effect. Some people put eyeshadow under their eyes?
I do it just cause I think it is pretty. If you use a sparkley color then put it on it just makes you shimmer.
if you dont put too much, it'll look great.
I do it sometimes, helps to keep the eyeliner from smearing/running, depending on the color can change the eyeliner color a little. Could also use powder. I just use the eyeshadow thingie that comes in the case, or a q tip would work.
Yes I think it defines your eyes more, and to do it use a q-tip with the eyeshadow on it and put under with lash line.
I do that, and it look really good! You just put it on with the same applicater that you use above your eye. Same color too. I use the color of my eyes, to make it look natural. (Brown)
I do it, but very little. I have a very think brush that I use to put a small line of color right under my lash line. Almost like eyeliner, but can give a more elegant look if done right.
I do something like that, but I don't use eye shadow. I use a glittery eyeliner instead.
are you talking about the smoky look? i love it, but i dont really know how to get it, seems simple , does anyone else know?
Yes, but you have to have the eyes for it, it doesn't look good one anyone that just does it.

You can use a flat angle brush to do so.

But make sure that if you do put eye shadow under your eyes that you only do it on like the ends of your eyes not the whole bottom part, because then it doesn't look to good.

Is cotton Candy eyeshadow with Blue eyes okay?

Because thats the color im wearing today and sometimes in like magazines it will say that its not good to wear eyeshadow that is the same color as your eyes! But the color blue looks good on me im just not sure abbout the cotton Candy Blue!Is cotton Candy eyeshadow with Blue eyes okay?
    yes!

    it will be like the ';double-bubble';

candy hehehe lolIs cotton Candy eyeshadow with Blue eyes okay?
i wouldnt. im not a big fan of bright blue eye shadow. it looks like stage make up to me.

i would try something like a shimmery gold or bronze. it will highlight your blue eyes and look really good. also, if you try light browns they look really pretty too!

it might take away from the natural beauty of your blue eyes if you wear blue eye shadow. you want people to notice your eyes, not your eye shadow if you catch my drift =D

    good luck (:
i think that it will look goog depending on eye color if you have darker blue but if you eyes are like turiquose, pale blue, blue green and anyt hing like that it will not work but if it is darker the yes it will work
If you start with a natural colored base, then add a bit of the blue, line your lids with a charcoal color, and dabble a bit of the charcoal on the inside corner of your eyes, you're set to go! You can also add a little shimmer up to your brow bone to amp it up.

How much product is in the $14.40 MAC eyeshadow versus the $11.00 MAC palette shadow?

I know the regular MAC eyeshadow costs around 15 bucks and the one that's 11 is the one you place in the palette, but what's the difference in amount of product in the eyeshadow? I thought the black packaging held more product but I recently saw a video and the girl had almost finished hers and it's only near the surface and not deep with product like I thought. How much product is in the $14.40 MAC eyeshadow versus the $11.00 MAC palette shadow?
There is no difference in size or the amount of product you receive.

When you buy the mac eyeshadow you are also paying for the container.

Thats why it costs more than the mac palette shadow.

Hope that helps. How much product is in the $14.40 MAC eyeshadow versus the $11.00 MAC palette shadow?
personally, i prefer pans! i feel the color is better, since it is a PRO product. i never really run out of product, so back to mac doesn't really matter to me.

if you have the option of getting pans, i would!!
    there is no difference
